Our Beginning

TEK Gear and Machine was started by Tom, Emil, and Kevin (TEK) in 1990. After years of working in other machine shops they knew there was a better way to run a shop. The first iteration of TEK was in a Canton Ohio business incubator. After 3 years at the business incubator TEK moved into its current location in 1993. Specializing in general machining and gear hobbing TEK grew its client list through the 1990’s. In the early 2000’s TEK began upgrading to CNC machines. Current day TEK provides quality machining with reasonable costs and timely service.
